VESTIGES

What does it look like to freely share our experiences? We all have arrived at who we are from different histories, but often stories intertwine. We can find commonality and community, even if, at first glance, there is little that connects us. 
My installation explores the experiences in life that can alter who we are and how we view the world.  The results of negative physical, cultural, and psychological experiences can leave long lasting pain. I seek to balance that with a call for community, humanity, and care.  A variety of materials are used and interwoven in these sculptural forms to represent our varied experiences and histories.
